Elenye has a master’s degree in piano performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. She also has a B.M. in piano performance from the University of Oregon School of Music. Her piano studies were with Wha Kyung Byun and Dean Kramer. She also studied chamber music with Leonard Shure and french vocal accompanying with Margo Garrett. For ten years, she was an administrative/artistic director and was on the piano faculty for two community music and arts schools with enrollments of over 200 students for ten years. Elenye has been an Adjunct Piano Faculty at the Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA where she is also an accompanist and has coached chamber ensembles. She has been a Branch Chair for Certificate of Merit evaluations for Music Teacher’s Association of California in Whittier, CA. She freelances as a pianist in the Greater Boston area and has been a staff accompanist at New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, MA; Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA; Whittier College Music Department, Whittier, CA; and University of Massachusetts, Music Department, Lowell, MA.
