At Stage Music Center, we believe every student deserves the chance to shine! That's why we're bringing back our monthly recitals in Acton and Winchester, MA, with a fresh, more relaxed format we call Open Stage!.

Open Stage gives students of all ages and levels a casual, low-pressure stage to share what they've been working on, try out a new piece, and build real performance confidence! Our teachers even join in too, and family and friends are always welcome in the audience.

 
 

What to expect at Open Stage | Monthly Recitals in Winchester and Acton, MA


• Any instrument, voice, or level. Beginners are especially welcome.
• Play alone or even with your teacher.
• Relaxed and low-pressure

Best for students who:
• Can comfortably play through at least 1 song
• Want to build their confidence and stage-presence!

 
 

Starting This Fall

Open Stage begins this Fall 2026 in Winchester and Acton, MA with monthly recitals held at both locations.


Day & Time: TBD based on group.
Session Length: 60-120 minutes
Location: Stage Music Center – 50 Cross St, Winchester, MA | 930 Main St, Acton, MA

Spots are limited to keep groups small and ensure every musician has a chance to shine.

Our Winchester and Acton community welcomes students from Woburn, Stoneham, Arlington, Medford, Lexington, Burlington, Concord, Littleton, Carlisle, Harvard, Westford, Boxborough, Chelmsford, Maynard, and Lowell, MA.

  • Performers must be current Stage Music Center students or teachers.

  • Ages 6+

  • Any instrument taught at Stage Music Center, including voice, is welcome to be performed at our monthly recitals.

  • Open Stage is a great place to start. The audience is friendly and supportive, and your teacher can help you choose a piece.
