Meet Kyle Townsend: Stage Music Center Piano Teacher

With a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance in both classical and jazz singing from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, I have a passion for writing and performance. I perform regularly at open mic nights in the Boston area where I hone my skills in singing and guitar. I have recently picked the piano back up after some time away from it. Some of the more difficult piano pieces I learned from the past was the first movement of the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven, as well as some jazz standards such as Fly Me to the Moon and Lullaby of Birdland. I am currently working on a four song EP which contains multiple elements of rock and roll music. I am beyond thrilled to join the incredible staff of Stage Music Center and I am looking forward to embarking on a creative journey with everyone in the studio!
