Many parents have asked us what size or type of violin they should purchase. We recommend
for 5 to 7 years old children (18" - 18.5" arm length) a 1/4 size violin
for 7 to 9 years old children (20" arm length) a 1/2 size violin
for 9 to 12 years old (21.5" - 22" arm length) a 3/4 size violin
for older children and adults a 4/4 size violin
The violins we have selected come with a case, bow and rosin.
