We are excited to also offer a “String/Chamber Ensemble” program. We take chamber music seriously, not only for its intrinsic musical value, but for the richness it adds to our community. For many musicians, playing in small ensembles is one of the most rewarding experiences in our lives, and our faculty is dedicated to bringing this joyful experience to our students. We know that this experience is a crucial part of their development as musicians, and we acknowledge the importance of learning the vital and often delicate social and musical skills required to create a successful ensemble.
We are proud to welcome in our music school students from many Greater Boston towns including Arlington, Burlington, Lexington, Medford, Stoneham, Winchester and Woburn MA.
New students can enroll at any time!

Cartoons have long been a beloved form of entertainment for children and teens. They also play an excellent role in introducing young people to the music world.
The music in cartoons shapes how kids experience the characters, stories, and emotions behind them. When creating music for younger audiences, composers make deliberate choices to ensure the sound resonates with children and teens.
Ever find yourself completely lost in the rhythm of a hip hop track, the beat taking over and pulling you in? Maybe you’re nodding along, feeling the flow of the verses, or even throwing down some slick rhymes yourself (shower concerts count, right?).
While musical style is its core element, hip hop is a full-blown cultural force that’s reshaped the way we experience music, art, fashion, and even language.
Have you ever been completely captivated by a performance where not a single word was spoken? That's the magic of pantomime, also known as mime!
Pantomime, or mime, is an art form that uses silent gestures to tell a story. While you might think of it as an old-fashioned act, mime is still alive and well, captivating audiences with its simplicity and elegance.
If you're a singer—or even just someone who loves to belt out your favorite tunes in the car—you know how magical your voice can be. But have you ever thought about the health of your vocal cords?
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just starting, keeping your voice healthy is essential. After all, singing is more than just hitting the right notes—it’s about maintaining a strong, clear voice that can shine through every performance.
Have you ever wondered why certain colors just pop when placed next to each other, or why some art pieces feel so balanced? The answer lies in the color wheel—a simple but powerful tool that artists have been using for centuries. This little wonder, the color wheel, isn't just a fancy decoration. It's your key to unlocking a vibrant world of color combinations and artistic expression.
Have you ever wondered what that peculiar hum is when you first sit down for an orchestral concert? The seemingly chaotic period of scraping, blowing, and tapping? It's not just random noise—it's the orchestra tuning, a ritual as old as the ensemble itself. Many people new to orchestra assume that tuning is a simple task. But did you know that there's a lot more to it than meets the ear?
It’s no wonder that music lessons are a wonderful way to nurture creativity, discipline, and self-expression in people of all ages. But have you ever considered how technology, specifically Artificial Intelligence (AI), is revolutionizing the music landscape? AI is not just a tool; it's becoming a partner in the creative process, opening up new avenues for learning and exploration.
Imagine this: your child picks up their instrument, their eyes sparkle with focus, and they begin to play. But instead of following a pre-written piece, they're weaving a melody on the spot, their fingers dancing across the keys or strings, creating music that's entirely their own. That is the magic of improvisation!
