MONDAY - BROADWAY KIDS

Let’s create a show!

Let’s bring together singing, dancing and acting. A musical instruction connecting acting and music.

Each term, broadway kids will work on these aspects while selecting pieces from a Broadway repertoire. Kids will not only perform the pieces musically and dramatically, they will also stage and choreograph a unique performance. Children will learn rehearsal tools and technique to bring to life their greatest show.

TUESDAY - STAGE BELLS

You love to sing? You are a beginner or have already some experience? Join the Stage Bells!

Through the initiation of fundamental singing skills and engaging choral repertoire, students will build self confidence, express the artist in them. Children will benefit from an individual vocal instruction while singing together. They will learn breathing techniques, sight reading, music theory and ear training on top of another fundamental skill: listening!Performance opportunities throughout the year.

WEDNESDAY - MUSICAL CHESS

Chess instruction.

Get your mental workout! Learn chess, one of the only board game with no luck involved just brains!

Chess fuels your Brain - Just as in sports and music players train to perform better, in a chess game players train their key asset – the brain. Learning chess enables you to train your brain to solve challenges . Chess will enable children with similar tools as music lessons does: concentration, perseverance, patience, increased memory and much more. Tools elementary children can learn playing, and still use in the classroom.

THURSDAY - CARNAVAL OF THE INSTRUMENTS

Music appreciation instruction

Children experiment with different instruments throughout the program. If they already play an instrument, they will have the opportunity to discover new ones.

Children will also explore during this music appreciation program various musical facets. They will gain improved understanding and appreciation for diverse types of music including historical, cultural aspects and impact on our society. Children will be sensibilized to sounds, melody, rhythm, harmony and ear training.

FRIDAY - STEM…M

Music experiments instruction.

M for music, an additional way to encourage children to discover and experiment with music. Children will get science, math or building challenges. STEMM is an additional inventive way for children to use technology, digital music apps, to invent music. They will learn to recognize notes, pitch, melody and rhythm and compose their own music.
