She focuses on many important elements of learning to play the piano also making it a lot of fun! She focuses on music theory that enables the student to understand the piano at the appropriate time and pace so that learning occurs by applying it. It is evident how much time and attention to detail she puts into her students as we notice how our daughter’s needs are considered. We think the pace of the sessions is great. She moves along enough to keep our daughter engaged, but not so much that she feels lost.

"2 years ago, I proposed to my wife. I wanted to do something special for her at the wedding. With out ANY knowledge of any type of music I had this idea of being able to play the piano for my wife at my wedding. I sat down with Rose and explained what I wanted to do. She helped me tremendously over the last few years! First, through Rose, I learned how to read music, then play simple songs with my right hand, then left...and eventually both hands together. She gave me constant feedback and challenged me week after week to progress. Understanding my tight time line she even allowed me to come use one of her pianos to practice on. After two years I as able to successfuly deliver a surprise of a lifetime. My family and friends were all blow away. Even the videographer cried during the surprise. I will remember this day for the rest of my life and the only way I pulled this off was from Rose. Not only is she a fantastic teacher, but also became a very good friend.
