Meet Jenie Song: Piano & Voice educator at Winchester Stage Music Center

Jenie Song, Piano & Voice teacher at Winchester Stage Music Center.

Pianist, singer and music educator, Jenie Song is dedicated to teaching music by using diverse and developmental approaches, specializing in piano, choral, general elementary and early childhood music instruction.

She has worked extensively with children throughout the California Bay Area, Miami and New York City. As an active performer in ensemble singing and collaborative piano, she performed and recorded with the acclaimed ensemble "The Choral Project" and with Vocal Flight, a 6-member ensemble that won “Vocal Jazz Ensemble Winner” at the Reno Jazz Festival and Downbeat magazine’s “Outstanding Performance.”

As a soloist, she was awarded winner of the Steinway Society of Western Pennsylvania piano competition. Jenie earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Performance (Piano) and Piano Pedagogy Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University and holds a MM in Music Education from University of Miami, Frost School of Music. She also received certificates in Kodály and Musikgarten’s music and movement program for early childhood.
